What is Valtor?

Contract-to-cash software for agencies and service businesses in Germany. Valtor reads signed client contracts, schedules what falls due and prepares e-invoices that a person approves and sends. Every figure is traced to its contract clause.

Who is Valtor for?

Agencies and other service businesses in Germany whose client contracts differ: retainers, project milestones, media and performance fees, hours budgets, framework agreements with call-offs.

Does Valtor send invoices automatically?

No. Each invoice goes out on one explicit action by a finance owner, now or individually scheduled. There is no bulk send.

Does Valtor replace DATEV or my tax advisor?

No. DATEV remains your accounting system. Valtor files each issued invoice there as a document (Beleg) and exchanges the customer list, but books nothing.

Which e-invoice formats does Valtor issue?

XRechnung and ZUGFeRD, numbered consecutively for each billing entity, with the Leitweg-ID for public-sector clients.

What happens when a contract does not state something?

The term stays visibly open and becomes a question for your reviewer, or it comes from your approved billing policy. Valtor never estimates.

Does an AI calculate the amounts?

No. A language model proposes terms from the contract; amounts and dates are calculated by deterministic code from terms a person has approved.

In which language are invoices issued?

In the language the contract sets for the client, German or English; German when the contract is silent. Valtor itself is available in German and English.

Can Valtor read incoming payments?

Yes, through a read-only bank feed. Valtor matches payments to invoices but cannot initiate a payment.

Does Valtor chase my clients?

Not on its own. Valtor drafts payment reminders for a person to release, and reminds your own team about missing details such as figures or PO numbers.

Where is my data stored?

On servers in Germany. Each workspace is separated from all others in the database itself, and every change is recorded in a chained audit trail.

Which tools does Valtor work with?

DATEV Unternehmen online (invoice documents and customer list), HubSpot (won deals), a read-only bank feed, an e-invoicing provider, the EU's VIES service for VAT IDs, Excel workbooks for figures, and an API with webhooks.

How can I try Valtor?

Run the free contract check on one of your contracts, or request access to a workspace; we set it up with you personally.

How long does the free contract check keep my files?

24 hours. You can delete them sooner.
